Each classic column is reimagined with a “director’s cut” layout and paired with a brand-new introduction by original author Tom Palmer Jr. that provides a behind-the-scenes look at the earliest days of the long-running column that profiled the superstars of the 1990s alternative comics movement and reflects on the work, the creators involved, and how time has complicated—and sometimes challenged—his original picks.

The Complete Palmer’s Picks #1 revisits the first seven “Picks” and includes a brand-new essay outlining the origins of “Palmer’s Picks” as well as a few surprises, including a special cover drawn by the author!
